We are John and Jen Richard, and we're the owners of Ivory Lace Photo & Film! We are so excited you're here!

We have been married for 15 years and we have 3 awesome, yet sometimes unruly children, Bowen who is 14 and a fan of all things Lego, our 11 year old daughter Lily, who is a princess to the core, and our 7 year old, Jaxson, who is crowned the most unruly one of the bunch! We own a small farm with 5 horses, 2 dogs, and more cats than we are comfortable admitting to!
We are a Jesus loving family!
Our photo & film making journey started 10 years ago, while working in ministry through the YMCA. Working in ministry was so special to be a part of and we wanted to freeze those memories in time. That was when we purchased our first camera and the rest is history! 10 years later, we still have that passion and desire to document the most special and precious moments.

By far, our favorite moments to capture are weddings. We love the entire process, from booking your date, guiding you through your timeline, doing your engagement session, following your milestones, like saying "yes to the dress," and of course the wedding day itself. We love every single detail of the process! When you book with us, you will gain an experienced support system that you can depend on to help guide you.

If you book an individual package with us, John will be the lead photographer and/or videographer. If you book a package that has more than one shooter, then one of our associate shooter will be with us as well!

Jen's role in our business is editing all of our couple's photos and films. She is also the one who does all of the communication with our couples! She is very quick to respond to text messages and emails and is a line of support for you throughout the entire process.

Do you travel?
Yes! We travel up to 4 hours and possibly more depending on your date!

How many weddings do you shoot per year?
We shoot between 35-45 weddings and elopements per year!

What equipment do you use?
My team shoots with high quality Canon brand cameras (Canon R5 , R6, and R7), in addition to a variety of prime lenses. We also have a variety of lighting options, lav microphones for film audio, and stabilizers such as tripods, monopods, and gimbles.
Do you back up your footage and photos?
All of our cameras have duel card slots, which means your footage and photos are being recorded to a back up card the entire day. Once we get your footage and photos home, we have three methods of safely backing everything up. We save a copy on two different external hard drives and also on cloud storage.

How long will it take to receive our photos and films?
We typically give you a sneak peek of your photos and film within 7-10 days your wedding. Our full photo galleries and our films typically take 8-10 weeks to deliver. We do offer an option to have rush delivery for an additional fee.
